Hi, my names Michael Kelly. I provide building design and drafting services for residential projects including new homes, renovations & additions throughout Tasmania.

SJH Drafting provides energy assessments for all new residential dwellings, duplexes and apartments using The NatHERS (Nationwide House Energy Rating Scheme). NatHERS is the most common way to show that a new home meets the minimum state and territory building energy efficiency requirements based on the National Construction Code (NCC). It involves modelling your design using accredited software (FirstRate™). This advanced software analyses your building and assessors the heating and cooling loads required to keep your house at a comfortable temperature and provides you a star rating from 0-10 stars based on your design. In WA you are required to achieve a minimum energy star rating of 6 stars to achieve compliance.
