Quality Hearing was opened in Mt Waverley in 2002 by Carolyn Sigmont and Lesley Langdon. Since then, Quality Hearing has gained an enviable reputation as a client focused and ethical practice, and has earned the respect of the local community and allied professionals. Our clinicians, Carolyn Sigmont and Lesley Langdon, have both worked extensively in the public and private sectors and have a combined work experience of over 60 years. Carolyn and Lesley see their roles primarily as clinicians. In an increasingly aggressive profit driven industry, with retail outlets often owned by large international companies, Quality Hearing remains an independent, private, friendly, community focused business, which puts the hearing needs of its clients foremost. We work with your medical providers to ensure that all of your needs are addressed. Carolyn Sigmont commenced working as an audiologist with the Australian Department of Health, specialising in both paediatric and adult case work. She later worked in a hospital setting before working in private practice. Lesley Langdon commenced working as an audiometrist with the Australian Department of Health, and later worked for the Department of Veterans' Affairs, before working in private practice. While Quality Hearing is centrally located and easily accessible, home visits are arranged for clients unable to travel. Our office hours are 9 .00 am to 5.00 pm, Monday to Friday, or as privately arranged.
