Quality Consulting was established in Tokyo in 2001 by Christopher A. Heissner. Chris is originally from California. He grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 1993. After graduation he went to Korea for about 6 months to work and study. In the summer of 1994 he returned to the US and worked at Intel Corporation in Folsom California as an international business intern in their IT group. Chris left for Japan in January of 1995, and has lived there ever since. He has been an executive recruiter for foreign capital firms in Japan more than 10 years. He speaks 6 languages: Japanese, English, Mandarin Chinese, as well as intermediate level Korean, German and Spanish.
