First called "Quality Management for Quality Museums," Will Phillips and Mary Case formed Qm in 1993 to serve arts organizations and business corporations. The Qm meaning was expanded to mean "Quality Management To A Higher Power." John Durel, a former museum director joined Qm in 1996.
