Qingtech offers rigorous and novel research, development and strategy services, focused upon environmental sustainability and Information and Communications Technology (ICT) services and data. Qingtech also leads several early stage sustainability and technology start-up projects. Our team offers organisations the ability to scientifically and meaningfully quantify, understand and manage the environmental sustainability impacts of their technology infrastructure and services. Clients include Green Electronics Council, Telstra, Microsoft, The United Nations and GeSI. Our skills and background in both academia and technology organisations means we can (and enjoy) treading the fine line between the business and science worlds to translate on both sides for effective results. Most importantly, we are passionate about technology and the environment and believe smart use and implementations of technology are a key enabler to a more environmental world. Current projects include providing an analysis and easy dissemination of the environmental impact of cloud computing technology across multiple countries. We are working with Telstra in Australia to quantify, understand and manage the full environmental impact of their cloud service offering.
