QATs Information

QATs (Quality Assessment Tasks) are an invaluable teachers' resource used for assessment within Victoria (VCE®), NSW (HSC and Preliminary) at Year 11 and 12 levels, and South Australia / Northern Territory (Stage 2 SACE). Developed by experienced teachers, QATs are the ideal assessment tools for internal assessment and end of year examinations. Professionally designed and delivered electronically, QATs save teachers time and effort while providing confidence that assessment is reliable, accurate and consistent with requirements specified by education authorities. QATs have been used by hundreds of schools throughout Victoria, NSW, South Australia and Northern Territory. We recommend that teachers source and use a variety of assessment tasks to ensure the security and integrity of an assessment program.
