QATESOL was formed in 1972 to serve the needs of Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages in primary, secondary and tertiary level sectors of both public and private education. In March each year, a volunteer Management Committee is elected to conduct QATESOL business. QATESOL is an affiliate of The Australian Council of TESOL Associations (ACTA). QATESOL members are also members of ACTA.
