PyGirls is an educational initiative offering free online Python coding courses for girls aged 12–19. Now in English, German, French and Spanish. We aim to make digital education more accessible and encourage more girls to discover STEM. More than 3,000 girls from 36 countries have already taken part. PyGirls is an all-volunteer initiative that was founded by employees of the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) Switzerland in 2020. We partner with companies, schools and other organizations around the world to help more girls discover coding and STEM. Partnerships are completely free of charge and designed to require very little effort. We provide ready-to-use communication materials, registration links and promotional content, making it easy to share PyGirls via your existing communication channels. For Companies and other organizations Learning - offer your employees the opportunity to introduce their daughters and other girls in their networks (e.g. family, friends, business partners) to Python and STEM. We simply ask our partners to share the information and registration materials we provide, helping us reach more girls. Volunteering - offer your employees the opportunity to volunteer with PyGirls. We have a variety of exciting ways volunteers can contribute to our mission. For Educational Institutions Introduce your students to PyGirls through your existing communication channels. The courses are delivered online by the PyGirls team outside school hours, allowing schools to offer an additional educational opportunity without adding to teachers' workload.
