We are a part of the PWO Group. As a supplier of the global mobility industry, PWO develops and produces high-precision metal components and subsystems in climate friendly lightweight construction at the boundaries of what is technologically feasible. Our product portfolio is entirely independent of combustion engines. Thus we are excellently positioned to align all our resources towards actively shaping the future. We understand ourselves as a corporate citizen and are committed to the sustainable development of our global society. This is why we believe in using business as a force for good. At the beginning of 2007 PWO AG in Oberkirch acquired a 60% interest in Cartec S.A. de C.V., a Puebla-based supplier of metal components and assemblies. In May 2008 the takeover has been completed. This acquisition allowed PWO to expand its capacity levels and establish an important market presence to complement the company's activities in the North American market, which has been served by PWO's facility in Kitchener/Ontario, Canada, since 1997.
