Since the company's inception in 2010, we have provided routine and crisis-based pharmacovigilance services in the areas of incoming call handling, product litigation-medical record review, and medical chronology authoring, recall services (high volume case processing, product complaint triaging, medical inquiry FAQ development and handling) and general domestic/foreign case report processing, inclusive of literature and spontaneous adverse drug reports. Our business model is built on an “in-sourcing” concept, where our team of licensed health professionals log into the client's database, using secure web based proxy or VPN channels. We thereby become an extension of the client's department, which can be utilized as needed. Another advantage with the in-sourcing model is that all the data remains within the client's database, thereby eliminating the need for migration of data-sets at the conclusion of the service agreement. However, should there be a need for us to process and host the data, we can certainly do so. PVigilant, LLC, has further strengthened this concept by employing a flat rate, “per piece” charge. Once we have agreed to a set price for a service, we commit to that price, regardless of how much deviation occurs from the estimated to the actual.
