The National Museum of Art, Architecture and Design, Norway. The National Museum holds, preserves, exhibits, and promotes public knowledge about, Norway's most extensive collections of art, architecture and design. It shows permanent exhibitions of works from its own collections and temporary exhibitions that incorporate works loaned from elsewhere. The Museum's exhibition venues in Oslo are the National Gallery, the Museum of Contemporary Art, the National Museum – Architecture, and the Museum of Decorative Arts and Design. The Museum's programme also includes exhibitions that tour both within and beyond Norway's borders.

Oslo Nye Teater er et moderne teater med en forankring i hovedstadens urbane liv, og tilbyr sitt publikum et repertoar preget av ny dramatikk, både norsk og internasjonal, og for øvrig et allsidig teatertilbud. Oslo Nye Teater AS driver fire scener i tre teaterhus: Oslo Nye Hovedscenen i Rosenkrantzgate, Oslo Nye Centralteatret i Akersgaten og Oslo Nye Trikkestallen i Torshovgaten.

KODE er et av Nordens største museer for kunst, kunsthåndverk, design og musikk, fordelt på fire kunstmuseer og tre komponisthjem. Her finner du Edvard Grieg Museum Troldhaugen, Harald Sæverud Museum Siljustøl, Ole Bull Museum Lysøen og kunstmuseene i sentrum (de gamle institusjonene Bergen Kunstmuseum og Permanenten Vestlandske Kunstindustrimuseum). Disse fem museene ble slått sammen til en konsolidert enhet i 2006 og etablert som en egen stiftelse fra januar 2007. I sentrum viser KODE kunst fra renessanse til nåtid i fire bygg langs lille Lungegårdsvann i hjertet av Bergen. Komponisthjemmene er en del av KODE, men har alle sine egennavn. KODE is one of the largest museums for art, craft, design and music in the Nordic countries, and consists of the Edvard Grieg Museum Troldhaugen, the Harald Sæverud Museum Siljustøl, the Ole Bull Museum Lysøen and the old institutions Bergen Art Museum and the West Norway Museum of Decorative Art. The five museums were merged to form a combined entity in 2006, and starting in January 2007, established as an independent foundation. Our visitors can appreciate art from the Renaissance to the contemporary era in four characteristic buildings along the idyllic Lille Lungegård lake, in the very centre of the city of Bergen. The composers’ homes are part of KODE, but keep their own unique names.
