Purzue provides people a faster and more painless way to create a great résumé. Through its simple and intuitive experience, Purzue lets users create a résumé that is beautifully designed and can be distributed from any device. The problem Purzue addresses is twofold; first, people who want to create a résumé for the first time are unsure of how to make one and have to resort to searching for examples of other résumés or scouring the web endlessly for advice. Sometimes, they even end up paying professional résumé writers. This creates an frustrating barrier, preventing them from just diving right in. Secondly, the résumé itself has been growing more stale and has not quite taken the leap to the modern web yet. More often than not, it is nothing more than a static, lifeless file sitting on somebody’s desktop, when it should instead be more of a web-based utility. Purzue solves both these problems by taking the existing, familiar concept of the résumé and repackaging it into something that is far simpler and engaging to use for just about everyone.
