Purple Threads Ensemble Information

It is our passionate and fundamental belief that Art is important. It is a mirror. It asks us to question why we believe what we believe and can build a bridge of understanding. For a shared moment, in the presence of great Art, we are united. We become human in each other’s eyes. It whispers to our souls, reminding us that we are alive… we have a purpose, we have value, and this life matters. We yearn for a Theatre that transforms, that challenges the status quo and illuminates the soul. By simply asking the questions that need to be asked, we hope to illuminate the universal truths of our human experience. We are not interested in propaganda or pushing an agenda. Our interest lies in the conversations we have with others: artist to artist, artist to audience, human to human. The exchange of words and ideas – these are the threads that tie us all together.
