PBT refines critical battery materials using commercially proven, proprietary processes independently validated to reduce both cost and environmental impact compared with conventional refining. PBT’s uniquely flexible processes can refine both primary intermediate materials, such as Mixed Hydroxide Precipitate (MHP), and secondary materials, including black mass recovered from recycled batteries. This flexibility enables PBT to produce a range of high-quality battery materials for different chemistries, including NMC precursor cathode active material (pCAM) and emerging lower-cobalt chemistries such as LMR and LMNO.
