Pulse, an independent software house, head quartered in the South East of England, was formed in 1993 with the aim of delivering the UK's first Microsoft Windows solution for Wealth Managers. Initially developed as a Front Office solution for the stockbroking division of one the UK's largest Banking Groups the first Pulse product went live in 1995. Over the following few years the product was extended to provide a complete solution for wealth managers by also addressing the needs of the 'middle office' and 'back office'. The company now employs more than 30 staff and maintains a strong focus on research, development and support and provides enterprise wide solutions to more than 30 wealth management businesses (both onshore and offshore), between them managing over £100bn on the Symphony platform.
