Our fiscal management of projects has been refined to the point where we often deliver not only the contracted scope of work but also additional work. Northcote Primary school was an example of this, as we managed the project and variations so thoroughly we were able to add significant value to the school by solving historical issues including tall building bracing work, water reticulation remedial work, perimeter and sports field drainage issues were resolved. We also voluntarily repaired the schools play area, ensuring the environment for the children and teaching staff was safer and with the school reinvigorated, having been given the opportunity to deliver beyond both the scope and expectations of the principal and the ministry. In short, we see our role as being both the project leader as well as the trusted advisor.
