Powertech Engineering LLC, (PTE) was founded in 2005 with the objective of supporting the development and progress of Oman's Power Transmission and Distribution system. he Company started its activities with the execution of transmission and distribution projects including overhead lines, substations, protection systems and testing and commissioning of several industrial complexes in the country. The company has firmly entrenched itself in the field of EPC management of transmission lines and substation projects in the Sultanate of Oman. PTE employs approximately 1500 employees including management cadre, skilled staff and technicians comprising Oman nationals and expatriates. Since formation of the company, PTE has played both large and small role in almost all power generation and transmission projects that came up in the country. In the last three years, it has also developed and diversified effectively in the field of project management with it's renowned clientele viz Petroleum Development Oman (PDO), Oman Electric Transmission Company (OETC) etc. PTE has successfully executed many electrical projects by way of design, installation, testing and commissioning. PTE has a wide range of registrations with the major clients in Oman such as PDO, Ministry of Oil and Gas (MOG), OETC, Occidental of Oman (OXY), Oman Gas Company (OGC) etc, in the electrical and instrumentation fields. The company's core area of specialization has been in installation, testing and commissioning of overhead lines (including Wood pole, Spun Concrete Pole and Steel Towers) 400KV Sub stations, electrical installation works in all process plants and power generation facilities, Telecommunication net works and Cathodic Protection works. PTE is certified to ISO 9001:2008 by VQMI and committed to top quality service and customer satisfaction.
