PsychMed is South Australia’s leading psychological service providing innovative evidence-based psychological treatment and mental health services to individuals, families and businesses. Our psychologists are experienced practitioners and academic educators delivering clinical services, professional training and behavioural science research across South Australia. PsychMed is a community-based service organisation specialising in suicide prevention, trauma, disability and addiction (gambling, alcohol and drug programs). We believe that everyone is entitled to be treated by experienced clinical psychologists regardless of their religious belief, age, gender, sexual orientation, culture, socioeconomic circumstances or geographical location. We provide complimentary specialised and articulated evidenced-based psychological assessment and treatment programs for community-based agencies and partners such as General Practices, Dept of Health and Wellbeing, (Mental Health, CAMHS, DASSA), Dept of Child Protection, Dept of Youth Justice, Dept of Correctional Services, Dept of Planning Transport and Infrastructure, Flinders University, Minda, Community Living Options, Anglicare, Uniting Communities, Community Transitions, CASSA, OCA, AFSS, RASA, The Salvation Army, Yarrow Place and Victims of Crime. We have ongoing collaborative partnerships with the Wellbeing and Recovery Research Institute (WARRI)National Matrix Education Network, University of Adelaide, University of South Australia, University of Central Queensland, University of Sunshine Coast, Auckland University, Deakin University, Monash University, Melbourne University, The Alfred and Responsible Victorian Gambling Foundation.
