PsycArt Information

PsycArt exists as an initiative since 1998 that became more and more famous by its annual exhibitions which were organized for doctors and health professionals in mental health care. PsycArt transformed into a non-profit association in 2013 and from then on started to open its doors for the general public. In this way it wants to stimulate contacts and meetings and contribute ensuring that people look with new eyes towards "differences". PsycArt bestaat als initiatief sinds 1998 en kreeg vooral bekendheid door de jaarlijkse tentoonstellingen die in hoofdzaak georganiseerd werden voor artsen en gezondheidswerkers in de geestelijke gezondheidzorg. PsycArt richt zich vanaf 2013 naar een breed publiek dankzij de omvorming naar een vzw. Op deze manier wil het contacten en ontmoetingen stimuleren en ertoe bijdragen dat er met andere ogen wordt gekeken naar “verschillen”. PsycArt existe depuis 1998 et était principalement connue pour ces expositions annuelles à l'attention des médecins et professionnels de la santé du secteur de la santé mentale. Structuré en asbl depuis 2013, PsycArt a désormais la volonté d’ouvrir ses portes à un large public, voulant ainsi multiplier les rencontres, les échanges et contribuer à changer le regard que nous portons sur la différence.
