PsicoMedica, Clinical & Research Group Information

The institutional mission of PsicoMedica is to provide clinical services for the general public through specialized programs that follow the standards of the international scientific community. The institution is formally affiliated as a Post-Graduate Clinical Campus to Universidad de Chile, Faculty of Medicine, Psychiatry and Mental Health Department and to P. Universidad Católica de Chile, Faculty of Social Sciences, School of Psychology. Post-graduate and doctoral students regularly perform research activities that support our best clinical practices. Our main institutional research focus is on long therm mental health effects of child abuse and neglect. https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.1080/20008198.2021.1874600 We also perform clinical research activities based on good clinical practices (GCP/ICH), which fulfill local regulations, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and the European Agency for the Evaluation of Medicinal Products (MEA) standards, through our sister institution Biomedica Research Group.
