Founded in 1986, the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit research and educational organization that develops medical, legal, and cultural contexts for people to benefit from the careful uses of psychedelics and marijuana. We further our mission by: ● Developing psychedelics and marijuana into prescription medicines ● Training therapists and working to establish a network of treatment centers ● Supporting scientific research into spirituality, creativity, and neuroscience ● Educating the public honestly about the risks and benefits of psychedelics and marijuana

Odell Borg started High Spirits in a small garage in San Diego, CA in 1990. From the beginning Odell’s vision was to spread the joy of creating music to as many people as possible. Through art fairs, workshops, and word of mouth this vision came to life. Today, thousands of people have learned to play music on High Spirits flutes. We have grown into an all-inclusive flute shop that offers a full line of quality flutes and accessories. But most importantly, High Spirits continues to pursue Odell’s original vision by continually producing videos, books and other instructional materials that help people connect with the joy of playing music.

Third Wave’s mission is to nurture the emerging psychedelic ecosystem by providing individuals with research-based education, access to vetted providers, and membership in our global community, a safe space to ask questions, share experiences, and connect with others on a similar journey. What does "Third Wave" mean? The first wave of psychedelics involved ancient and indigenous use for thousands of years, the second wave was the counterculture movement of the 1960s, and today is the third wave of psychedelics. The third wave of psychedelics integrates intentional and responsible psychedelic use into our everyday lives. It is an era not for ‘dropping-out’ and rebelling against society, but for integrating psychedelics into our mainstream culture; an era invigorated by the tremendous upside of responsible psychedelic use rather than paralyzed by misguided fear of their possible negative repercussions.
