TECHO is a youth led non-profit organization present in Latin America & the Caribbean. Through the joint work of families living in extreme poverty with youth volunteers, TECHO seeks to overcome poverty in slums. TECHO pursues three strategic objectives: (1) The promotion of community development in slums (2) Fostering social awareness and action (3) Political advocacy

It is the mission of Pueblo de Dios to Seek, Invite, and make Disciples of Christ. We have been a mission church of two Lutheran churches for the past 5 years: Zion and Prince of Peace. We are actively becoming a financially self-sustaining body of believers. It is our goal to plant 5 new Spanish Speaking churches in the Northern California area within the next 7 years. Another significant goal for Pueblo de Dios is to build an indoor soccer field for the youth in the community. We are committed to providing healthy and fun activities in a safe and wholesome environment for the youth of San José. It is impressed upon every member of Pueblo de Dios to recognize the Lutheran heritage of our theology that we are saved by Faith and the Grace of God. This enables us to have an identity through Christ.
