ProX Summer Information

ProX is where opportunity meets potential. Operated by Real World Initiatives, a 501(c)(3) affiliate of the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, ProX connects Kansas City high school students with meaningful, real-world experiences that help them explore careers, build professional skills, and imagine what’s possible for their futures. Through our signature 5-week paid summer internship experience and work-based learning opportunities, students gain early career exposure while working alongside employers across industries throughout the Kansas City region. For employers, ProX is more than an internship program—it’s an opportunity to invest in emerging talent, shift how young people see themselves in the workforce, and strengthen the region’s future talent pipeline.
