About the Home Inspector: By way of introduction I would like to introduce a short history that provided the experience that will help you realize why you should use US as your "home inspection" company. My name is Mike Paris and I started at an early age in the construction field at 13 yrs of age. My father was in business as a Contractor and Cabinet Maker and I begin working with my Dad at 13 yrs old. After graduating high school, I continued in the construction industry from residential construction which included the building of new homes, additions, and interior applications. I was a foreman for a large contracting firm that not only performed residential work but also industrial and commercial projects. I have also operated my own business and was a Contractor for 25 yrs in residential construction and remodeling projects in the Owensboro surrounding area. We are the ONLY home inspector locally that has contractor experience! I have been performing home inspections for over 21yrs and served this area longer than any other company as a home inspector. I feel that a home inspector's experience is a very important part of his knowledge as a home inspector. I am a "certified" home inspector with "International Association of Certified Home Inspectors" InterNACHI, in which we perform additional certification for providing our clients with the latest and most valuable knowledge and training available. I am the ONLY CMI-Certified Master Inspector in the Owensboro area and also a Board member with KREIA "Kentucky Real Estate Inspectors Association. Home Inspections are what I do!
