Founded in 2005, Providus established itself as a proprietary trading firm specialising in short-term trading opportunities across numerous markets. Since then the business has expanded to cover investment advisory and management services across many other asset classes utilising a number of complimentary strategies. Providus' proprietary risk monitoring and control methodology enables us to dynamically evaluate, monitor and adjust our portfolio's exposures at a granular level. Importantly, our approach aligns our risk-taking to the primary aims of our stakeholders - Capital preservation and maximisation of returns. Recognising the undeniable importance of emerging markets in today's global economy, Providus actively seeks investment and trading opportunities in these increasingly significant markets. We are especially active in the Asia-Pacific Region due to our geographic proximity. Apart from our on-market activities Providus is also actively involved in researching algorithmic and quantitative trading strategies for future deployment.
