Providence Vineyards is a highly respected winery in north-west Tasmania. Producing some of the most-awarded cool climate pinot noir, we have a reputation for quality. As the oldest established Tasmanian vineyard, we want to share our wealth of knowledge and the beauty of our terroir with the rest of Australia. Our patient and thorough approach to winemaking has led to some of the best pinot noir in Australia bearing the Providence label. With over 70 years of winemaking at Providence, the vineyard is a trusted and reliable producer of both fine red and white wines, but our pinot is our focus and our expertise. Providence's reputation is hard-earned and well-deserved; our 2000 Providence Miguet Reserve won best wine with and without food in the Australian Gourmet Pages National Pinot Challenge; the only double-winner in the competition's history. Our releases have been awarded gold medals and 'Best of the Best' awards by famed wine critic James Halliday so we trust that whichever vintage you select, you will be pleased.
