Proteus is privately owned and located in a 246,000 square-foot, state-of-the-art manufacturing and office building located in the Franklin Industrial Park in Franklin, Wisconsin. The name Proteus Packaging derived from Greek mythology. The sea god Proteus could metamorphosis himself to any shape and was sought after for his insight into the future. The term evolved over time to mean versatile, capable and adaptable – qualities that Proteus Packaging customers have come to expect over the past 75 years.
