About Protem Protem is a counselling agency founded on Christian principles. All of the counsellors are Christians and some, besides secular training, have additionally received training in Christian models of counselling. Our Christian basis provides boundaries within which the service operates and allows us to offer services, demonstrate and behave within Christian values. All of our counsellors are well trained and hold a range of degrees, diplomas and certificates of training and skills developed in counselling. All work is done to a high ethical standard and we abide by the codes of ethics of both The Association of Christian Counsellors (ACC) and The British Association for Counsellors & Psychotherapists (BACP). Protem is an organisational member of both of these professional bodies. It is a registered charity and is free from all denominational ties.
