Senior UI/UX Designer for SaaS and product companies. I usually work as the only designer on a product, taking it from first idea to shipped UI. I'm also open to working on a team alongside other designers. I design products end to end: flows, states, and screens. Working solo only works if the design stays coherent as the product grows, so I also build the design system underneath it. Most of that experience comes from two products. At Magic Square, a Web3 app store, I redesigned existing pages and designed the UI for new features on my own. In parallel, I built the design system: design tokens on Figma Variables, light and dark themes through Variables modes, and a UI Kit of 90+ components. That system let one designer and the engineers keep the product moving at startup speed. At MONT, a major software distributor, I worked with a team of analysts to design the interface for a web portal of four data-heavy products — tables, forms, dashboards, and flows for orders and documents. To keep delivery fast and consistent, I built the design system behind it: design tokens and 50+ components in Figma. That's the through-line in my work: I build design systems from base components like buttons and inputs up to complex ones assembled for the product, so the design stays coherent as it grows and a small team can ship fast without it coming apart. I also bring AI into my work every day, from copywriting to design review, and I push it further on my own projects. I've designed and shipped two end to end with AI in Cursor: OutSence, an app that turns one selfie into styled profile pictures, and Rotrox, a spin-and-tap arcade game on the App Store. ✦ I'm open to Senior UI/UX and Product Design roles where I can lead a product's design end to end. ✦ Feel free to reach out via direct message on LinkedIn or by email (mail@protasevich.com)
