Prosperity Works advocates across public and private sectors to change attitudes, behaviors and policies that reinforce systemic poverty. We partner with organizations across the state so that every New Mexican has the opportunity, knowledge and relationships to achieve economic prosperity. We believe that direct, high-impact investments in hard-working, committed individuals and families are the best investment you can make. The strategy we use is called asset-building. Evidence shows that building assets stabilizes families, increases self-determination, and strengthens communities. When people are provided with opportunity and support, they thrive.
