Baker Creek Heirloom Seed Company offers thousands of heirloom seed varieties. Open-pollinated seeds: pure, natural & non-GMO! Started in 1998 by Jere Gettle, as a means to preserve heirloom seeds. In our first year we mailed 500 catalogs. In 2010 we have printed over 250,000 catalogs. Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds is a mail-order company that maintains an online presence (RareSeeds.com) and two retail stores. We are located in Mansfield, Mo. and Petaluma, Ca. Our company also produces the largest seed publication, "The Whole Seed Catalog" which has over 500 pages.
