We’re building the definitive platform for the hundreds of millions of people worldwide who actively collect, care for, and trade houseplants: a passionate, high-intent audience that has never had a home built for them. The global houseplant market is valued at over $20 billion and is projected to reach $30 billion by 2032, driven by a cultural shift toward wellness, biophilic living, and nature-integrated spaces that shows no signs of reversing. What’s missing is infrastructure. A place where growers track their collections, document their plants’ stories, connect with local communities, and trade cuttings with people who care as much as they do. Proppi delivers all of it in one place. The platform: Members build a personal plant shelf, log journal entries for each plant, follow other growers, and share to a social feed organized around species, location, and community. Our plant identification feature, watering reminders, and propagation tracking keep users engaged well beyond the initial download moment. Two revenue streams: Proppi+ is a premium subscription unlocking unlimited plant photos, advanced care tracking, and priority features. Our community infrastructure also creates natural opportunities in social commerce: connecting buyers, sellers, and traders within a trust-verified network of serious growers. The audience is already there. Plant content consistently outperforms across TikTok, Instagram, and Pinterest. The community exists but is fragmented across hashtags, subreddits, and Facebook groups.
