Prophy Information

Prophy helps research funding organisations and scientific publishers find the right reviewers and screen them for conflicts of interest. Our semantic model of the scientific literature covers over 190 million publications and 100 million researcher profiles across all disciplines. Given a proposal or manuscript, it identifies matching experts, ranks them by relevance and flags co-authorship, affiliation and other conflicts before a programme officer or editor sees the list. Prophy was founded by working scientists and grew out of ScienceWISE, a literature project at EPFL. Prophy is ISO 27001 certified and our reviewer selection tools are used by more than 70 research funders and publishers, including the European Innovation Council, in Europe and North America.
