ProofSlate is governance and orchestration infrastructure for inter-institutional academic delivery in India. India's policy architecture is ready. NEP 2020 established the framework for credit mobility. The Academic Bank of Credits created the portability mechanism. But between policy and execution, a structural gap persists — no standardised infrastructure exists to move credit-bearing academic programmes from the institutions that design them to the institutions and platforms that deliver them. The result: Tier-1 institutions sit on enormous academic capacity they cannot safely extend, while hundreds of universities and millions of students remain locked out of that quality. ProofSlate fills this gap. It is the operational layer that sits between supply-side institutions and demand-side partners — handling governance, compliance, delivery coordination, quality assurance, credentialing workflows, and commercial settlement. ProofSlate is not a university, not a marketplace, and not a content platform. It is the infrastructure that makes structured, credit-bearing academic programmes movable across institutional boundaries while preserving the academic sovereignty of the institution that designed them. The first deployment is with IIT Kharagpur. ProofSlate operates as the designated orchestration partner for IIT Kharagpur's Board of Governors-approved Platinum Jubilee Outreach Course Network, enabling IIT KGP faculty-designed, credit-bearing Micro-Specialisations to reach partner universities and education platforms across India. ProofSlate is building toward a future where every institution with academic excellence can extend its programmes beyond its own campus — governed, compliant, and at scale. Founded by IIT Kharagpur alumni, with IIT Kharagpur Foundation (IITKGPDEF) as a founding stakeholder.
