Promet Source is an award-winning, Chicago-based digital services company founded in 2003. We serve government and higher education organizations (state and local agencies, special districts, water and waste utilities, universities, and community colleges) with Drupal development, design, accessibility compliance, and proactive support for Drupal and WordPress websites and web applications. Our work combines open-source technology, code-level accessibility remediation aligned with WCAG 2.1 AA and the DOJ Title II rule, and proactive support that finds and fixes problems before staff or residents notice them. Promet Source began as a digital solutions firm focused on eCommerce projects for national brands. After getting exposure to the Drupal community of open-source developers, founder Andrew Kucharski saw that Drupal could solve complex problems in content creation and responsive design. The company realigned its core services around those needs and now builds and supports open-source websites for the public sector.
