ProKo provides the corporate structure, insurance, and contracts to allow the consultant to be paid on a 1099 business-to-business basis. This allows the consultant to keep more of what they earn by taking business tax deductions, and it allows the client to avoid paying an 18-50% mark-up on the consultant’s rates. A dramatically lower mark-up means that more of the client’s budget is going to the consultant, so they can afford higher caliber talent.
