Project.BB is founded by Martijn Lukaart and Edwin Bos and is a project of our Robo.foundation (in formation). We are two ‘Hagenezen’ with a passion for innovation and a heart for nature, especially in our hometown The Hague. With Project.BB we are joining forces with bright minds to build a robotic solution to clean the beach. Project.BB has high ambitions and wants to start a movement to change the mindset on littering. As a starting point, we work together with a lean team of professionals and highly skilled students in the field of Robotics and Blockchain. Key stakeholders, like the municipality and tech partners, are involved to support the team. As of September 2019 six TU Delft Minor Robotics students started to develop the robot. By January 2020 we will have a prototype, a demonstrator. We have the ambition to start cleaning beaches around mid 2020. In the meantime we have full focus on research & development and are motivating others to join the movement. “Let’s clean the beach together”
