Project W is a student-led community dedicated to inspiring and fostering interdisciplinary collaboration amongst women innovators and entrepreneurs across college campuses. We bring innovators, artists, engineers, and critical thinkers together to start high-level projects and foster meaningful relationships. Project W exists to let women learn, connect, and create: the three pillars of our community. Project Learn delivers hands-on workshops and training, comprehensive startup resources, and industry expertise providing women with the skills, knowledge, and confidence they need to achieve their goals. Project Connect brings ambitious women from diverse backgrounds and academic disciplines together to share their ideas and create meaningful relationships. Project Create provides women with roadmaps, community support, and expert mentorship to turn their innovative ideas into thoughtfully executed and meaningful action. Project Pods is an initiative underneath Project Create. It is a semester-long incubator dedicated to helping pods of 3–4 BOW women get from the idea to prototype stage. Utilizing the Stanford Design Thinking methodology and the Lean Startup framework with guidance from experienced mentors and professors, Project Pods spend 15 weeks researching, validating, and iterating potential solutions to identified problems.
