Our Mission Hopeworks Camden uses education, technology and entrepreneurship to partner with young men and women as they identify and earn sustainable futures. Together we seize the opportunity to heal, grow and thrive in the midst of violence and poverty. Hopeworks Description Hopeworks Camden is a nonprofit that has been working in Camden, NJ since 2000. Hopeworks works with youth ages 16-24 and offers paid training in website design and development, GIS mapping, and other technological skills that will lead to paid internships either with Hopeworks, or with externship partners. About Hopeworks Services: As part of it's program, Hopeworks runs three businesses, offering a complete array of web site design, development, and maintenance, along with GIS mapping services, and finally trauma training to teach about trauma-informed care. What does this mean? It means we believe that without addressing the unresolved traumatic issues in a youth's life, youth will not be able to take full advantage of opportunities in their lives. Step Up delivers compassionate support to people experiencing serious mental health conditions, and persons who are experiencing chronic homelessness, to help them recover, stabilize, and integrate into the community. Step Up is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization providing permanent housing, supportive services and workforce development for individuals experiencing a mental health condition and chronic homelessness. Step Up has been offering compassionate mental health support since 1984 and forming dynamic community partnerships co-developing housing since 1994. Last year, Step Up served nearly 5000 individuals at its locations throughout California, Georgia, Florida, and Tennessee.

With love and respect, YouthBuild partners with opportunity youth to build the skillsets and mindsets that lead to lifelong learning, livelihood, and leadership. Within the opportunity youth population, the YouthBuild movement primarily serves young people who lack a high school diploma and financial resources. These young people are in greatest need of our support, and they are our greatest source of untapped potential. Across hundreds of YouthBuild programs in the United States and around the globe, these young people work together to reclaim their education, gain job skills, and become leaders in their communities. YouthBuild partners with opportunity youth, and stands ready to meet them with knowledge, tools, opportunities, and love.
