Project Refit is on a mission to combat isolation. We host Retreats where we present the "Argument for Hope" to participants. An Argument for Hope is a restructuring of therapy that uses the same science and deploys it with a different assumption: that the participant is stronger than they think, and that their capacity to think clearly is the asset to be trained, not the deficit to be treated. We are not replacing clinical care for those who need it. We are filling the structural gap institutional therapy cannot fill, the one between symptom resolution and a fully exercised mind. In short, most programs and support start with an assumption of fragility and then prove it. We start with an assumption of strength and prove it by training. Same science. Different assumption. Different result.
