The Child Mind Institute is an independent national nonprofit dedicated to transforming the lives of children and families struggling with mental health and learning disorders. Our teams work every day to deliver the highest standards of care, advance the science of the developing brain and empower parents, professionals, and policymakers to support children when and where they need it most. Together with our supporters, we’re helping children reach their full potential in school and in life. We share all of our resources freely and do not accept any funding from the pharmaceutical industry. Our Mission: To be a resource to our parents and provide a nurturing environment where it is safe to ask questions. We cater to the physical and emotional needs of the whole family. To provide the best possible services for our parents and children. Our therapy center has a friendly, welcoming atmosphere for our clients and their families. To encourage and support the continued learning of our employees, as well as our families. Our therapists maintain a variety of skills and always strive to stay abreast of the latest information to provide to our families. To use a team approach. We will partner with physicians, caregivers, and others involved in each child’s care, providing a bridge for our parents while we communicate the needs of their child.
