We are a Memphis style ribhouse specializing in barbecue pulled pork, hickory-smoked wings and of course, the best ribs you will ever have. Aside from our great restaurants, our catering departments "bring the pork to the people", feeding groups of 10-5,000.

We're the Creation Station Fabric and Quilt Shop, owned and operated by husband and wife team, Dawn and Patrick Farrier, in Buellton, California. Our shop is unique, as is our inventory. We strive to purchase fabric at lower prices and pass as much savings as we can on to you. We travel frequently to quilt shows all over California where we sell our pre-cut fabric and unique kits to distant customers. We always tell folks not to be fooled by our show booth, though...we sell so much more than just pre-cuts in our store! Much of our inventory is still available on the bolt so you can buy as much yardage as we have in stock! Our shop is in a former bowling alley, and features a spacious 2800 square foot interior bursting with thousands of colorful cotton prints, suitable for quilting, sewing garments, curtains, and other projects. When you visit, plan for plenty of time to browse our collection of vintage sewing machines, patterns, family photos, and lawn sprinklers (yes, lawn sprinklers!). With a passion for creating new uses for old items, we've re-invisioned and redesigned nearly every display in our shop -- "recycling" conventional items into unique products giving them fresh beauty and purpose. We carry hundreds of patterns and books and make a special effort to offer exclusive patterns by independent designers that you may not find elsewhere. Our walls are adorned with quilt, bag, and project samples. Patterns are conveniently displayed alongside the samples or signage will direct you to their location. No wasting time wandering the store in search of a pattern around here! We carry sewing notions to complete your projects as well as Superior, Mettler and YLI brand threads plus a full line of hand and machine needles. Throughout the year we hold our Brown Bag Retreats. This is an opportunity for quilters/sewers to get away from their everyday chores and relax on our turf. We hold Retreats in our very own Retreat Center. Kurs og aktiviteter for morgendagens teknologiske superhelter! En arena hvor barn i alderen 6-14 år kan skape, lære, leke, finne opp, designe og bygge. ****** Minimakers er kurs og aktivitetstilbud for barn og unge innen "digital skaperglede", med fokus på læring gjennom lek, utforsking og kreativitet. Koding, ny teknologi og tradisjonelt håndtverk skal sammen være grunnlaget for skaping. Minimakers er en arena hvor barn kan lære og utforske krysningspunktet mellom teknologi, vitenskap, innovasjon, design og kunst. Her skal de få grunnlaget for fryktløshet gjennom å lære at å feile er essensielt i innovasjon. Nysgjerrighet og utforskningstrang skal heies frem! Dagens barn er storforbrukere av teknologi, og bruker mye tid foran en skjerm. Det som vil være essensielt for fremtiden er evnen til å ikke bare være forbrukere av teknologi, men å bruke teknologi til å løse utfordringer, til å skape. Målet er å i løpet av første halvår 2019 sette opp en kursplan for barn i alderen 6 -14 år i Kristiansand sentrum. Her skal de få skape en fysisk ting, for eksempel en leke, et spill, et plagg, noe de ser ville være praktisk i sitt eget liv, eller kunst. Dette skal de skape ved å ta i bruk tradisjonelt håndverk som sløyd, søm, modellering, keramikk, maling og kombinasjoner av disse, ved bruk av ny teknologi som 3d-printere og laserkuttere, og ved å bygge inn små mikrokontrollere og datamaskiner (som for eksempel micro:bits eller arduino) som de kan kode. De vil gå gjennom hele prosessen fra å designe den opprinnelige ideen til å prøve og feile, og finne løsninger for å gjennomføre ideen.
