Project Magic Information

Project Magic is an inexpensive Microsoft Excel-based add-in for quickly analyzing and comparing the quality and effectiveness of one or two schedule versions created in Microsoft Project. The user interface consists of a ribbon tab customized specifically for Project Magic. It allows you to choose the criteria to evaluate, produce results in seconds, and link to the results in Microsoft Project. Project Magic Schedule Analyzer uses proprietary algorithms implemented in Excel to analyze individual and overall characteristics of a schedule file against project management best practices. These best practices are commonly accepted by the Department of Defense, Department of the Navy, General Accounting Office (GAO), and the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA). Proprietary algorithms, combined with efficient design, result in class-leading data importation and analysis run times. Subsequent versions will allow storage and plotting of comparison results.
