We are Project Kitty Hawk. We’re an education technology and services nonprofit on a mission to build pathways for adult learners to earn high-quality, workforce-aligned degrees and credentials from North Carolina’s public universities. As an affiliate of the UNC System, funded by a start-up grant from the General Assembly, Project Kitty Hawk is dedicated to North Carolina’s longstanding commitment to opportunity and innovation. We partner with the state’s public universities to create online programs and services specifically designed to meet the unique needs of working adults. Together, we are helping accelerate progress toward North Carolina’s 2030 attainment goal of 2 million adults with a postsecondary degree or credential, strengthening the workforce and driving economic growth.
