Project FoundED Information

Project FoundED (PFED) is a nonprofit dedicated to advocating for equitable outcomes by removing the barriers to the innovation and adoption of Education Technology. PFED has begun by building a community of the entrepreneurs building impactful Education Technology and are dedicated to delivering equitable learning outcomes. They’re using this community (now over 1000 founders) as a resource to help Educators and Education Systems develop strategies for engaging with technology that focuses on outcomes. Project FoundED operates from a belief that educators and the founders of EdTech companies have a shared goal of educating students. The channels available for them to work together on that goal (the traditional sales process) is one that is not focused on outcomes and does not lead to trust - the bedrock of successful partnerships in education systems. PFED has been hard at work on a collaborative learning community called the School Technology Roundtable - a group of district teams and EdTech entrepreneurs collaborating to define what works and what doesn’t in the discovery, evaluation, and implementation of Education Technology.
