Project DAO is a Chinese medicine clinic in Alexandria, Sydney. We opened in 2017 with a simple conviction: that people living with long-term illness deserve more than symptom management. The people who come to us have usually already tried things. Specialists. Investigations. Treatments that helped a little, or not at all. What they are looking for — and what we try to offer — is care that looks at the whole picture. Not just where it hurts, but what the body is holding, what it has been through, and what it is trying to do. We work with chronic fatigue, autoimmune conditions, anxiety and nervous system dysregulation, chronic pain, women's health and fertility, and complex multi-system presentations. Our approach is classical Chinese medicine-led — drawing on acupuncture, herbal medicine, and body-based therapies — and deeply informed by nervous system understanding and trauma-aware practice. We think in patterns, systems, and lived context. We do not reduce a person to a diagnosis. Since 2017 we have delivered over 20,000 treatments. Our Google rating is 4.9 stars from 124 reviews.
