Progressive Pediatrics Information

Progressive Pediatrics is committed to helping young people get to a healthier weight and lifestyle so they can avoid chronic diseases and gain self confidence. Obesity is a disease and not a condition due to lack of self control. We are determined to help your child or adolescent feel good and be healthy. We use nutrition counseling, lifestyle modifications as well as medications to achieve success for every patient. North Jersey moms choose Progressive Pediatrics for many reasons. They know that their children are in good hands with our highly skilled, experienced, board-certified female pediatricians, Drs., Polack and Teraguchi – who also happen to be moms themselves. Progressive Pediatrics has been serving the North Jersey community since 1999. Moms know that we are caring and compassionate doctors with great bedside manners, and we have a knack for making children and parents feel comfortable. Parents also like the fact that our doctors and staff are multilingual (English, Spanish, and Arabic)We’re big on patient education and we believe in fluid communication with each patient’s family. We involve parents and families in treatment decisions. And we’re known for our high-quality care, personalized service and attention – our doctors know your child by name.
