PROGE FARM is an Italian pharmaceutical company specialized, since 1992, in research and innovation of high quality probiotic therapies registered as drugs (Live Biothepeutic Products), medical devices and food supplements, with its own research laboratory on probiotic bacteria within the Science Park and Technology of the city of Novara, the University of Piemonte Orientale, the Federico II University of Naples, the University of Sacro Cuore. The company represents an excellence of the territory and is part of the virtuous network of SMEs that contribute to innovative Italian development, recognized by the Ministry of Economic Development. It is in fact one of the few companies in the sector to boast a complete and integrated vertical supply chain, 100% Italian, which starts from the selection and isolation of lactobacilli up to the marketing of the finished product. Each Proge Farm probiotic strain, selected internally by the company and deposited in international libraries with the support of clinical studies and patent coverage, is produced within the Novara plant, one of the few in Italy to be GMP authorized, according to increasingly innovative and efficient processes to guarantee the highest quality of the finished product. The company, which has its historical roots in the ancient art of fermentation, typical of the Novara area, translated into the pharmaceutical field, is a key player in the probiotic market thanks to a solid technical-scientific authority, to a constant dissemination of the therapeutic properties of probiotics and important scientific partners including, in addition to the University of Piemonte Orientale, the Catholic University of Sacro Cuore of Piacenza and the National Research Council (CNR).
