Professional Migrant Women (PMW) Information

Professional Migrant Women (PMW) is an organisation that aims to maximise the potential and contribution of professional migrant women through meaningful employment. We provide a supportive community, access to professional networks and opportunities for professional development. Professional migrant women face many challenges when it comes to entering the workforce. From family responsibilities, social isolation, lack of understanding of the Australian job market, lack of personal support and lack of professional networks, finding a job is not an easy task. Our aim to close the gap between migration and professional employment for migrant women by providing: * Professional development opportunities * Build personal connections * Grow professional networks * Develop work readiness skills * Getting support from other professional migrant women. How do we meet? We meet online for our mentoring and training sessions and offline for networking events. How do we work? In our fortnightly meeting participants develop their skills in a learn-by-doing manner. We provide ongoing mentoring, development and networking opportunities for migrant women to approach with confidence the Australian job market in a friendly and supportive environment.
