PROFESSIONAL LEGAL COACHING Information

Offering legal coaching to all attorneys throughout the US. Ms. Southers provides one on one coaching to uncover the challenges, strength and goals of her clients so that she can assist them in moving forward in their careers and lives. This is done in a supportive environment where the attorney- client can discuss their needs and see them actualized through careful planning and follow through. Ms. Southers also offers one on one coaching to law firms that want to provide an additional and unique benefit to their attorneys. Joining the law firm's mission statement with the individual attorney's path can facilitate a remarkable growth for both. Because of Ms. Southers past as an associate and then a Solo for over 21 years, she has the knowledge and expertise to facilitate this process to everyone's benefit. Ms. Southers has been coaching since 2008. Besides coaching, she spends much of her time teaching, writing and doing pro bono work for both her legal and home community. The ABA recently published her book: BE A BETTER LAWYER: A Short Guide to a Long Career. This contains material to analyze where the attorney is presently in his career and disclose what he or she might want to change. It goes on to give solid, concrete advice as how to go about making the actual changes. Also included is a section on how the world is changing in the 21st Century for attorneys. Again there are suggestions as to how to keep on top of this.
